Join me at Tower Hill Botanic Garden and spend a day exploring this gem of a garden and arboretum, high on a hill overlooking the Wachusett Reservoir.

An easy 90 minute drive from Hartford, Tower Hill hosts The Cary Award program, showcasing outstanding trees, shrubs, vines and groundcovers for New England landscapes. Seeing these plants thoughtfully used throughout the gardens always inspires me to plant more of these problem-solving beauties.

Great trees and shrubs with perennial companions, seasonal displays, edibles, hiking trails, a tropical plant conservatory, outdoor sculptures, delicious food and a gift shop full of temptations – well worth a visit.
